Take 20 ## Expecting God to Work September 2nd, 2026 Peter and John encountered a situation they could not solve through ordinary human ability, but they trusted the power of Jesus and acted in faith. The miracle that followed was not a demonstration of Peter and John’s greatness; it was the Holy Spirit working through them. This reminds us that supernatural power is not given to make us impressive but to accomplish God’s purposes and point people toward Jesus. We should learn to look for opportunities where God may want to work beyond what we can naturally accomplish. https://thetree.church/blog/2026/09/02/expecting-god-to-work Take 20 · August 4th, 2026 ### More Than Forgiveness The cross secured forgiveness, but the story did not end at the tomb. Jesus rose and ascended precisely so that the Holy Spirit could be poured out on all who believe. God’s plan of redemption was always meant to include an ongoing, living encounter with His Spirit. https://thetree.church/blog/2026/08/04/more-than-forgiveness Take 20 · March 27th, 2026 ### Filled with the Holy Spirit Peter's answer to https://thetree.church/blog/2026/03/27/filled-with-the-holy-spirit Take 20 · October 8th, 2025 ### Faith That Moves Mountains Take 2-3 minutes to quiet yourself and ask God to speak to you today through your devotional time. It was a gruesome death reserved for criminals, one of the worst punishments of that time. Before we take a closer look at the cross, let’s take a moment to invite God here with us today.Jesus, there aren’t words enough to thank You for the sacrifice You made for me, for the fre... https://thetree.church/blog/2024/08/21/power-in-powerless-places
