He danced with all his might because his heart was overwhelmed with gratitude for God’s presence returning to Israel. David understood what God had done: called him from shepherding sheep, sustained him through years of waiting, and established him as king. His physical worship reflected the magnitude of grace he’d received. What has God done in your life? He has called you, redeemed you, filled you with His Spirit, and adopted you as His child.
