description: "We love because He first loved us. This simple truth carries profound implications for evangelism. God's love wasn't passive—He sent His Son into a broken world to rescue us from spiritual death. If we truly grasp the magnitude of God's love for us, we cannot help but extend that love to others through both actions and words. Fear often paralyzes us: fear of rejection, fear of not having all the answers, fear of appearing hypocritical. But love casts out fear. When we love someone, we should fear something far worse than awkwardness—that they might miss eternal life with Jesus. Today, ask God to deepen your understanding of His love for you. Then ask Him to give you His heart for those around you who don't yet know Him. Love always finds a way to speak."

Take 2-3 minutes to quiet yourself and ask God to speak to you today through your devotional time.

Reading: **1 John 4:9-11, 19**

Be sure to highlight or note anything that stands out to you while you read.
After reading the passage, take the next 5-10 minutes and spend time reflecting on what you read. You can write these things down in a journal or record them in your phone. Be attentive to both what you highlighted in the passage and what is going on in your life.

We love because He first loved us. Love always finds a way to speak.**

Now, take 10 minutes to seek God in prayer…

1. Begin your time in prayer by taking 1-3 minutes to sit in silence (You can take longer if you sense the Spirit already beginning to speak to you).
2. Pray through the things you sensed God speaking to you through the Scriptures or pray the following prayer: **“Lord, deepen my understanding of Your love for me. Remove fear from my heart and give me boldness to extend that love to others today. Show me who needs to experience Your love through my words and actions.”**
3. Close by taking 5 minutes to sit in silence, asking God if there is anything else He wants to speak to you today.

**Faith Steps:**

1. Perform a simple act of love or kindness for someone today, without expecting anything in return.
2. Pray for at least one person who doesn’t know Jesus, asking God to prepare their heart and give you an opportunity to share His love with them.
