Reading: **Revelation 5:5–6** Be sure to highlight or note anything that stands out to you while you read. Be attentive to both what you highlighted in the passage and what is going on in your life. ** Jesus is both the conquering Lion and the sacrificial Lamb. The people of Israel longed for a Messiah who would overthrow Rome, but Jesus came first to defeat sin and death. Often, we also want Jesus to show up in power and make life easier—but His greatest victory is over sin within us. True worship begins when we embrace Him not just as Lion (strength, victory, protection) but also as Lamb (sacrifice, humility, and forgiveness).** Now, take 10 minutes to seek God in prayer… 1. Begin your time in prayer by taking 1-3 minutes to sit in silence (You can take longer if you sense the Spirit already beginning to speak to you). 2. Pray through the things you sensed God speaking to you through the Scriptures or pray the following prayer: **Lord Jesus, thank You for being both my conquering King and my sacrificial Lamb. Help me embrace the kind of salvation I truly need, not just the kind I want.** 3. Close by taking 5 minutes to sit in silence, asking God if there is anything else He wants to speak to you today. **Take Action:** 1. Write down one area where you want Jesus’ power (Lion) and one where you need His correction or forgiveness (Lamb). 2. Thank Him for both today in prayer.
